PROGRESS OVER 8 WEEKS: Behavior training with Reconcile(TM) is more successful than behavior training alone

The impact of Reconcile™ on the success of behavior modification training

Results from clinical trials of more than 400 dogs demonstrate the positive impact of Reconcile™ on behavior modification training.[1]

Reconcile™ is a once-daily, chewable flavored tablet. It is available in four dosing sizes based on your dog's weight. Reconcile™ is available in 8, 16, 32, 64 mg chewable tablet strengths that can be given with or without food. Your veterinarian will prescribe the right amount for your dog, and is always your best source of information for any questions related to giving your pet Reconcile™.

What role does behavior modification play?

Starting your dog on Reconcile™ at the same time as beginning a simple training program gives you the best chance of treating separation anxiety. Your veterinarian will provide you a step-by-step guide to help you understand and implement the training program used with Reconcile™, also called the BOND™ simple training plan. Combining these simple training techniques with Reconcile™ chewable tablets has been proven to work faster and better than training alone.

The BOND™ simple training plan includes four steps and focuses on reinforcing positive behavior:

  • Be positive
  • Only reward calm behavior
  • No more drama when you come and go
  • Develop your dog's independence

More information on the BOND™ training plan can be found at BOND™ Simple Training Plan.

The most common adverse reactions recorded during clinical trials with Reconcile™ were calm or lethargy, reduced appetite, vomiting, shaking, diarrhea, restlessness, excessive vocalization, aggression and, in infrequent cases, seizures.
